The event is entirely multidisciplinary in scope, including presentations on topics as diverse as political satire, early modern women’s comedy, fun at work, humour in translation, clowning and performance, stand-up and freedom of expression, psychology of laughter, humour in narratives of nursing and well-being, and reading cartoon soundtracks.
