Дашка под увлечение мангой выучила несколько японских слов. Теперь она с нами общается по-японски. Поскольку ребенок почти тинейджер, то всяких "доброе утро" и "спасибо" ей уже хватает, чтобы заменить заметную долю общения.

Ganbatte kudasai! Have you already bought Japanese in mangaland? I noticed that often learning Japanese is accompanied with the general affection for Japanese culture and life style e.g. cooking, which might be quite helpful for parents - we can take some advantage of it and enjoy some fruits of it. Has she already started cooking Japanese food? I can share several recipes from "Japanese grandma", well not grandma really but very tasty liike from grandma.

I think that it is plenty of hard work (almost every day for 1-2 hours of fencing), which helps us with the hormones.
